Officer Elections

~OFFICER ELECTIONS~

We will be holding officer elections starting Tuesday, March 29th for the 2016-2017 school year!! Attached is a list of the positions available to run for and their descriptions. If you want to run for a position please send an email to pmorgan6@uco.edu with your name, a photo, the position and a short bio (2-3 sentences) NLT Monday, March 28th. I will then post the list of people running and a link to the online ballot!
Requirements to run:
1. Must be a student at UCO for the 2016-2017 school year
2. Must have been involved in some way with UCO SWE during the 2015-2016 school year

March Update

Hello everyone!  We have quite a few events coming up!

Our next meeting will be Friday, March 25th at 4:00pm in HOH room 100.
We will be voting for next year's officers so don't miss this important meeting! The officer positions are:

• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Senator/Outreach Director

Please be sure to make this meeting if you are interested in running for a position or just to cast your vote!  There will be refreshments!

On Wednesday, March 9th at noon, Student Support Services is hosting a talk by about summer internships and careers in engineering and software design.  Lunch will be provided by Enviro Systems and you will have the chance to meet their president, CEO as well as others from their company.  It will be held in the Quad, room W111.

On Thursday, March 24th SWE OKC will be working with OKC 1st Robotics and they need volunteers!  This is an excellent opportunity to get connected with our professional SWE partners and inspire and encourage up and coming STEM majors! Contact us at sweatuco@gmail.com if you're interested in going!

T-Shirts are coming!  Yes, we will be starting to take t-shirt orders soon!  Be sure to ask about it at our Wednesday lunch bar and around the atrium during the week!
