We just had our first meeting! For those of you who missed it, we had a great attendance and got the semester off to a great start. Here is a quick run down of what we covered.
Become a National Member
If you would like to sign up to become a member, click

On the left side of your screen you will see a yellow button that says, "JOIN". Simply click on it and follow the instructions. Be sure to register under the Oklahoma City chapter as a collegiate with the University of Central Oklahoma (you will have to type this in under "other"). The fee is just $20 a year and will connect you with the greater SWE network and you'll receive benefits and have fantastic opportunities such as. . .
Conference!!!
The
National SWE Conference is coming up fast!!! The dates are
October 27-29 in Philadelphia, PA. This consists of the National SWE meeting, key speakers, and a career fair with company from around the U.S. The current price is $90 (for national members only) but it will be going up soon, so please
email us ASAP if you are interested in going! Click

T-Shirts
Yes! We will be selling t-shirts this semester, but we need YOUR HELP!! Please
submit your t-shirt design ideas to us no later than
September 20th!! Please remember that these will be sold to all types of engineering majors as well as some other STEM major students/faculty so consider that in your design. We're excited to see your submissions!
Career Fair
Just a reminder that UCO is having their career fair on
September 21st. Be sure to attend!
